Our Brand New Event, Rock the Block, debuts on Friday, September 18th, 2026! Free admission and free parking! Head down to First Street for the first night of this great two-day event! This event is rain or shine.

Band Lineup:

5:00-6:15PM and 7:30-8:00PM - Ben and Kate (Street band)

6:15pm - REO Survivor and Co. - Tribute to REO Speewagon, Loverboy, & Survivor (link)

Hot on the heels of their 2018 Summer Concert Tour, the five core band members of Chicago Rewired were sparked with the idea to start a secondary tribute act that was a hard-driving, fist pumping, rock and roll force. After a long brainstorming session, where numerous well-known artists were considered, drummer/bandleader Mike Graci asked a prominent industry agent what he had a need for in the roster of tribute acts he represented. His answer caught everyone by surprise, a hybrid tribute to the bands REO Speedwagon, Loverboy and Survivor. Hence, REO Survivor & Co. was born.

8:00pm - Chicago Rewired - The Premier Chicago Tribute Band (link)

In the summer of 2015, local Charlotte drummer Mike Graci had an idea: He wanted to break away from the run-of-the-mill cover music he heard being played around town so he worked to put together something special. He began diligently seeking out the musicians required to realize his vision. With all of the pieces in place, the group established themselves as Chicago Rewired – The Premier Chicago Tribute Band.

Chicago Rewired – The Premier Chicago Tribute Band is a tribute to “Chicago®” – one the longest running and most successful pop/rock groups in history with record sales topping 100,000,000 including 21 top 10 singles, 5 consecutive number one albums, 11 number one singles, and 5 gold singles. The band comprises a unique blend of talented and seasoned musicians joining forces with the common goal of accurately replicating the timeless music of “Chicago®” – the soundtrack to great memories for so many people.
